Welcome to your internship.
The goal of the work-based learning internship program is to provide students with a comprehensive education while preparing them for an increasingly competitive job market. Work based-learning internships brings the workplace into the classroom and transforms the workplace into a place of learning.

Step 1Meet with your counselorThe first thing you will need to do is meet with your counselor to determine eligibility and availability. Once you have met with your counselor, you can sign up for an internship.
After filling out the Online form, please print off and complete the Application. Don't forget to get all the signatures required. Please upload your completed application below.
Fall semester applications are due
End of 2nd semester of previous school year. Spring Semester applications due before December 15th of current school year.

Step 2Register as a job seeker at jobs.utah.govNOTE: When registering, please do NOT register with your school email.
After registering as a job seeker, you will need to complete the online Workshops and schedule an appointment to complete the Mock Interview/Resume Critique
If you have signed out of jobs.utah.gov you will need to sign in to My Job Search using the Utah ID/Email and password you created when you registered as a job seeker.

Step 3Set up your internship siteIf you need help finding an internship site, the Department of Workforce Services will help you set up your internship.

Submit the completed training agreement form. Don't forget all the signatures required.
You will also need to complete the "Workplace Skills Essay". Click on the following button to find the information to complete your essay. Then submit your completed essay in Canvas.
